Inspiration/Motivation for being a Teacher of Excellence:

One thing Frank loves about teaching is the excitement of seeing young people achieve success.  He works to provide his students with many opportunities to be creative and to experience success beyond the walls of the classroom.  Frank also loves teaching as it allows him to satisfy a variety of interests including academics, athletics and music…basically teaching helps him fulfill all his hobbies.

One of Frank’s nominators was one of his students.  She wrote:

“Going to Mr. Wittman’s class was never a chore; I looked forward to it because I had a great time.  He was always there to help us out, and he kept our spirits high.  He willingly offered his opinion, as well as his time, to get us out of a jam.  He constantly gave us words of encouragement, and always congratulated our successes.  He never lost hope in us, and his enthusiasm inspired us all.  Mr. Wittman treated us as equals and he always gave us the opportunity to state our thoughts and opinions.  He was able to push us to explore ourselves, and what we were capable of achieving.  I learned many valuable lessons that I will carry with me throughout my life.  He is a brilliant person who always has about a million things to do, yet he’ll somehow find the time to help out others when they need it.”
